Urgent Statement from Companies House |

We would like you to be aware that Companies House has released the following statement in relation to Company Officer Appointments and the incorrect output of names.
Dear Customers,
We are sorry to report an intermittent problem that has arisen in regard to Company Officer Appointments, where a "middle name" has erroneously been inserted into the name originally submitted with a forename and surname.
e.g: Submitted Marie Connors on CH Records as Marie "Harry" Connors
Following investigation we have applied a fix which took effect from 14th October. However, we are still receiving reports of incorrect output for some records between 5th -14th October, which require a manual correction of the records.
We are sorry that we are unable to fix the errors retrospectively, as it is not distinguishable where these have arisen.
We do offer our sincere apologies to those customers and individuals affected. Please be assured that as soon as we are alerted to an error, we are correcting the data as a matter of urgency.
